We are excited to announce that this year we have allocated an official photographer for all of the shows at Crays Hill this year!
Naturally Focused Photography
We are local photographers branching out into the world of professional photography. We cater for all types of photography, from newborn, children, pets, parties and events. From our love of horses we also specialise in equine photography. We attend many shows from all spheres and enjoy competing ourselves. We understand how important it is to capture that moment in and outside of the ring to capture the perfect shot!
It was a good day had by all who attended the championships at Aston Le Wall!
First up was the junior team, managed by Sally Rose Horne.
Sophie did a cracking dressage scoring 36, this was followed by a very fast clear round in the showjumping phase.
Emma produced another lovely dressage test, scoring 33.8 and another super clear showjumping round!
Liz and the amazing Fred, who had to be brought in last minute due to Liz’s other horse coming lame, produced a very nice dressage and as always produced a lovely clear in the showjumping!
The last member of the team was Abbie, who borrowed Rosie’s Dot due to the lovely Quin injuring himself, and she produced a super dressage of 31.0 and another cracking clear showjumping!
Fantastic rounds had by all the junior members to produce 8th overall which was a fantastic achievement! Well done girls!
On the Sunday it was down to our one Senior rider who qualified as an individual!
Hayley and Arnie had a rather eventful dressage test where Arnie decided to show the judges how athletic he is by throwing some shapes! Hayley kept him together to score a solid 38.0. Then onto the showjumping, a very testing track with not many clears, but Hayley pulled it out the bad and the pairing went clear!
A great performance landing them 13th individually from 30 plus starters! Well done Hayley and Arnie!

Our senior novice team finished a creditable 4th place with clears from Lauren Goode and Julie Haywood and just 4 faults for Janet Hyde.
Rosie Bates was riding her exciting new mare Inca, who is fairly new to this showjumping game. She had an unlucky 2 poles in round 1 and one or two more in round 2! But she learnt from the experience and looks to be a very brave event horse in the making!
Lauren’s horse Arnie performed in his usual polished style to achieve double clears and Julies XC partner Lola looked to be enjoying herself and having just one pole down over the two rounds!
Janet’s Alfie, our star performer at the Winter Championships at Hartpury, had a good look at fence 6, but jumped all other fences without faults!
A fantastic day for all, well done to our competitors and supporters for pole picking today!
We look forward to seeing you all at the Dressage show at Crays Hill on the 7th June!
