Novice Winter Showjumping Qualifiers – 16th November 2014 – Norton Heath

Go team Billericay!!! Superstar novice team of Lauren Goode, Janet Hyde, Sally Munt and Annette Philpot won the novice showjumping qualifier at Norton Heath today, finishing on a two round score of 4! Stylish double clears from Janet and Lauren put the team in a promising position, followed by a clear and one unlucky pole from Sally. Annettes young horse had a fabulous debut to his indoor jumping career, with just four faults on each round. The team finished ahead of the competition to qualify for Hartpury next year. Well done!

Festival of The Horse Combined Training Qualifier -15th Feb 2015 – Brook Farm TC

Well done team Billericay at the combined training yesterday. Team 3rd and individual 1st for Hayley Goode and Arnie, with an unbeatable score of just 21.7 for the seniors!
We had two mares returning from maternity leave (Dot 2 Dot and Majestic Girl) whose babies are now field mates!! A brilliant 6th place for Rosie and Dotty, with Laura and Ellie finishing just outside the placings. Annette rode her young horse Denzel to a creditable 9th place in the Novice 27 test.
Well done to Janet Hyde on Alfie, finishing on 40.2 and Stephanie Key and Chance on 38.

Another massive well done to go out to the Juniors whose team won the combined training! Emma Philpot (4th), Sophie

Philpot (3rd) and Lizzie Bird (3rd) they clinched the top spot too with Lizzie also coming 1st individually on her second ride in the prelim on Fred. Amazing performance girls, with just 3 in the team.

It was lovely to see everyone and it almost feels like Spring!!!

Novice Winter Showjumping Championships – 4th April 2015 – Hartpury College

facebook-20150524-210904Back from the KBIS 2015 winter showjumping championships with team Billericay at Hartpury, with Hayley Goode, Lauren Goode, jan Goode, Rosie Bates, Janet Hyde and Sophie Hyde.

With a team of just three, the odds were against us, but all our riders went clear in the first round & we went through on zero, over a technical course, fabulous!!! In joint 1st!!!

The course went up for round 2 and Rosie and Dot had an unlucky 2 poles. Janet pulled off a brilliant foot perfect double clear with Alfie on his first stay away show. It was not to be for Arnie and Hayley, who didn’t like the look of the scary Zebras.

Still a great performance from all Billericay riders; Well done to everyone, we had a great time at Hartpury, with great company!! roll on the next one!
